Dubai Municipality HR Analytics Engine
Automated desktop data management application in Python/Tkinter that reduced manual processing by 40% and cut reporting turnaround by 50%.

The original talent-development menu staff had to navigate — starting point of the redesign.
My first-ever coding project, hand-written in Python and Tkinter before AI coding assistants existed — every line below, including the VS Code window in the screenshots, is original work replacing a legacy internal HR tool at Dubai Municipality (DMX).
Architected and built a standalone desktop application with sign-in, a bilingual Arabic/English HR hub, validated data entry with automated day-to-hour conversion, a live summary panel, and one-click Excel report exports via pandas.
Collaborated closely with municipal HR staff to redesign the interface around their real workflow, cutting processing turnaround times in half while reducing manual errors by 40%.
What was delivered
- Reduced manual processing time by 40% and cut report turnaround by 50%
- Custom Python/Tkinter desktop interface with sign-in, validation, and bilingual Arabic/English UI
- Automated Excel reporting engine (pandas) replacing the vulnerable legacy internal tooling
